Shadow Fun!

So just the other night, Cody and I were getting ready for bed and ready to read scriptures. I was on the computer and I look over and find Cody with a little flashlight on and making shadow animals! I was laughing so hard, he looks so cute! I think that is supposed to be a dog!
And I think that looks like T-Rex or the big dog on Sandlot!

Goodnight everyone!

Lots going on this holiday season and more to come, but here's a little bit of fun stuff!
Ashley's birthday was November 24th, turning the big 2-7! What a great sister and person!
We sure love you and hope you had a great day! She is also a great mom!Birthday guessing jar, picnic, and ants in the pants!
Ashley and the $$$ tree!
For her choice of game we played spoons! So much fun, and us girls have a hard time not screaming!
So intense!!!
Isn't she beautiful! My brother Blake likes to get himself somewhere in the picture,
Can you see his hand? He sure is funny!
Of course I have to take a picture of sweet Bella! She loves the lights
The first sunday of December we had our monthly FHE! It was wonderful! It was dad, mom, and Megan's turn. For dinner they served us, like they were Olive garden chefs and servers!
Look how awesome they look! Also we finished as a family The Book Of Mormon! Such a wonderful experience and we finished the night with Moroni's promise and exercised our faith and prayed! I love the Book of Mormon and I know it is true! Thanks family for everyone's testimonies of the B.O.M. The spirit was amazing that night!
Cute Megan and mom!
Yummy food! Thanks Chef Dad!
Sorry i snapped a sweet shot of Cody and our neice Cali!
I also wanted to share the Christmas spirit with holiday decor.

So far the Holiday cards of the season! Me and Cody, Ashley, Derk and Cohen, The Close family, and Michael and Heidi!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope everyone had a great day! Many things to be grateful for and wonderful memories. I'm so mad at myself because I forgot the camera! So no fun pictures! Sorry! But this year was spent with my side of the family. Cody in the morning went and played some football behind Wahlquist Jr. High right by my parents house. So he played ball and I put together puzzles. In the afternoon we came to my parents house and had a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast! Talk about delicious! Lots of fun and full tummies!

I'm so thankful for all the blessings I have in my life. I have amazing parents, siblings, in-laws, neices, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc... I'm thankful for Cody! He makes me so happy and gives me the butterflies still everytime I see him. I'm thankful for good health and a strong body. I'm grateful for employment and appreciative to have a job and benefits and also to teach dance, which I love. I'm also glad that Cody has a great job as well and that he enjoys it. I'm thankful that Cody is going to school and increasing his knowledge. I'm so thankful for the church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints and to be a part of building the kingdom of God. I'm so grateful for the happiness the gospel brings and that families are forever. There are many more but I'm appreciative for many things.

Hope you all have things you are grateful for as well. Happy Turkey Day!

ANNIVERSARY/GIRLS TIME OUT/BABYSITTING

Okay, here we go! Sorry it has been a long time, but we had some fun and busy events go on. It's kind of a long post, but hope you enjoy.
Over the weekend of Nov. 5th-8th, Cody and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary!
What a wonderful time we had! First on Thursday we headed to a Utah Jazz game. They played against the San Antonio Spurs and won!!! Yay, they played so good. We got to sit in the lower bowl and right behind the Jazz bench.
Sorry for the dark picture but that is Cody!We were there pretty early so that is why no one is behind us! We were too excited!

We almost got Jeff Hornacek's autograph, but we were a little timid!
But here's some fun pictures

Sorry so fuzy on these, but I had to zoom in lots!
This is Memmot Okur for those that don't know
And this is AK! Cody kept trying to yell at him in Russian!
Yay Jazz!!! Go D-Will and BOOOOzer!!!

That night we had to come home cuz Cody needed to go to school the next morning, but after we headed to Sandy where we stayed in The Castle Creek Inn! So much fun and so personable!
The Castle!
We are by our room door and we stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room.
How romantical!!! Sorry its hard to see.
The picture with the "peace sign" is actually "2" for 2 years!

The Inn was so fun! There is me at the front huge door looking through the peep hole.
The room with the flags was the kitchen area. They fed us breakfast in the morning.
In that room you could always have any beverage, popcorn, and they had movies you could watch. Very relaxing and fun!

In the room was a jetted tub, and over the weekend I had picked up the flu (not the bad one) but I spent a lot of time in the tub. It felt very relaxing! So thats why I look so ugly in all these pictures, we will blame it on the flu.

I'm so grateful and lucky to have a wonderful husband. It has been the best two years and I'm very excited for many many more. Cody is a very hard worker in both work and school and at home. I appreciate his fun loving personality. He is very caring and a great communicator. He is very strong and of course extremely attractive! Cody I love you very much!

Well going on with the events... Comes Girls Time Out!!!!
For this time, it was my sister-in-law, Anna's turn. We went to "IKEA!" Her favorite place to go. It was so much fun and I wanted to get everything in the store. I wanted a brand new house so I could decorate it with all the fun and high tech stuff. I came away with some picture frames, so not the whole store, but lots of laughing and fun times. Also in Ikea they have a restaurant so we grabbed some lunch there.
Here's Heather with a fun child's toy, doesn't she look awesome!!
Here's Anna and Ashley at the beginning of the store. They have a pamphlet and pencil and tape measure for you to use on your way through the huge store. Funny! Anna was so excited!!
Everyone kept starring because we were taking pictures all over, but we thought we were funny! Ashley and I were in their warehouse part and got onto the big holders(not sure what they are called).

Tons of stuff!
Funny!

It was great to be together and I sure enjoy being with family! Thanks for a fun time out Anna!
That night Cody and I were asked to watch sweet Cohen for Ashley and Derk while they could get out and have a nice time together. Cody was so funny, and exhausted by night's end. We were only there for 3 hours. How is he going to be when we have kids?!! Cohen is so much fun and likes to go everywhere. He does the best army crawl ever and seems to crawl into the most unusual spots. We had so much fun! Thanks Ash for letting us watch him.

Well I think I bored you all silly! That's it for now! Keep the good times rolling!

HALLOWEEN!!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!! Hope everyone had a great holiday and that you all participated and had a fun time!!!
I sure had a great time! I think it comes from my wonderful mom, her love for this holiday! Somehow it didn't rub off on my brother. (party pooper). Love you Blake!!
Well for dressing up at my work I had this fun idea that I thought was pretty clever. Why not be cops and robbers. (we work at a bank) funny!!! It wasn't well received, so I did it on my own.
Here I am!
Most of the employees dressed up as nerds! Here is Jolene!
Marianne (aka Mimi, The Drew Carey Show) She looked so good!
Kelli being a nerd
Jake the nerd, so funny, and Micki behind him as a nerd as well. She had these great fake zit tatoos on her face!
Jessica, she had a transformers back-pack on and wore it the whole time! She looked great!
So we got nerds, Mimi, robber, and a Weber State fan!
Crazy group! It was lots of fun! That night we went out with my family to Marie Calendars dressed up and had some dinner.
Very yummy food, I recommend it!
Everyone looked great!
My mom and dad as you can see were the incredibles, Mr. Incredible and Elastagirl!
The look awesome!

Ashley, Derk, and Cohen were old school golfers!
Isn't he just the cutest! I love him so much!
Heather and Steve were medieval King and Queen!
Such Royalty!
Meg dog was a gothic angel! Doesn't she look like Peyton on One Tree Hill?
Me and Cody just got done robbing a bank!
Bad Bad Bad Bad boys!
Pulling out my 9 and bust a cap!

Thanks family for a wonderful time! Lots of fun memories and great ideas for next year!

General Conference

I just wanted to share my love for the gospel of Jesus Christ! I'm so thankful that we have a prophet and apostles and leaders guiding and directing us. I'm so grateful for General Conference over the weekend and the amazing feelings I had while listening. I love our prophet!!! I'm thankful that we have modern day revelation and that Heavenly Father will always direct us and give continued revelation. I'm grateful for the spirit I felt and the strength it has given to my testimony. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I know that they live and are real. I also loved President Holland's talk, he is AMAZING!!!! Total hit to the heart. I definitely recommend it to all!!! I love the Book of Mormon and I know it is true! I love my family and I'm grateful that we are an eternal family. I love Cody with all my heart and I'm excited for our two year anniversary in November. Love you all and hope you enjoyed conference like I did!

GIRLS TIME OUT!!!

On Saturday, it was time for girls day out! Every other month we all as girls, Mom, Ashley, Anna, Heather, me, and Megan go out for a little bit of time and just have fun together. It was Ashley's turn this time to pick what we would do, so we first grabbed Subway sandwich's for lunch. Then off on the surprise!...............
My mom should be in this picture too!We went to the Layton Recreation center and went roller skating. Talk about fun! We laughed so hard and had a blast!
Heather and Megan getting ready!
Me and Ash dancing to the music, Headay getting into the picture!
We were trying to hold this pose for like 5 cameras! Hello "G's" by the way!
These were supposed to be glow in the dark (they didn't do much glowing) but it was fun and we had to get a picture of it.
Pretty much we just wanted to take pictures!
Mom busting some moves! Doesn't she look good! She was the best skater out of all of us! She was going fast and trying all these tricks, me and the sisters could barely stay up and move along. It's been a long time since we did this. We laughed so hard!!
Trying to hold this was a bit difficult!
as you can see.....
Cute pose from meg dog!
Anna and Ashley being funny!
Headay!!!
Some sort of dance moves from Ash!!! :)
